This was taken about a month ago and it was my very first project on such D.I.Y. concept of pre wedding. I am sure not many people in Malaysia would have such experience in preparing everything themselves, from A to Z. But it is special to Alan and Maggie, who are getting married soon!
Alan and Maggie wanted something that no body has before. So, what they did was to gather their two good friends, Georgette and Peggy to help them to D.I.Y. their dresses, as well as the preparation. I am certainly impressed with the spirit of using thrashed clothes, or you may also consider ‘junk’ material to convert them into a nice and very presentable wedding gown.
Guess what, the dresses are combination of curtain, old blanket, old clothes, old pajamas and etc. Unless you look closely, else you wont be able to notice those dresses are all made of junk material, but even if you noticed that, you certainly gonna impressed. It’s certain NEW idea, save money as inflation rate is killing nowadays, uniquely theirs and not forget to mention, it is always more meaningful when you get yourself involve in such making process. I am sure when you look back after many years, you’ll still in love with the ideas you have.
It is my honor to have this opportunity to witness a new trend of its own with Edwin, and the 3 hour shooting session at the Pasir Pandak was well worth the effort. Thanks for making me part of your team to take part in your wedding preparation.
