One of my 2010 photography resolutions is to improve my lighting skill. I have made it clear to the loved ones that I’d love to improve in this area. All this while, psychologically I have fear to flash my subjects (the bride and groom) using remote flash. And I know it’s time to remove this barrier and go on positively in this wonderful wedding photography journey.
More amazingly, after Joe’s back to basic teaching and some simple demonstration of using the remote flash in the most simple way, I gained much than I could imagine. More importantly that restored my confidence to flash remotely in any low light condition. This will soon be my next self challenge to have some portraiture sessions applying some of these techniques. Below are just some of the pictures I created myself, with help from some fellow photographer friends.
