1. Wedding And Portrait Photographers International (WPPI)
The world’s largest professional body of wedding photographers! Its print competitions maintain at highest standard and attract participations of many world class wedding photographers.
Shen’s first attempt in the WPPI print competition, however has earned him a 1st Place in Wedding Photojournalism. The winning shot, titled “Father’s Prayer” has made him the first Malaysian to have won 1st Place in Wedding Photojournalism in WPPI print competition.
Besides, Shen’s another shot, “Buckle Up” has won him 3rd place in Wedding Details. Shen won 8 photography awards all together in 2009.

2. Master Photographer Association (MPA)
Shen is a certified Licentiate Master Photographer (LMPA) with UK based Master Photographer Association (MPA). MPA is the largest professional body for wedding photographers in United Kingdom with strict selection of members from the globe. Its members are accepted based on the panel of judges on photographer’s professionalism as well as proven high standard of works.
